This four year period (2016-2019) was the start of GT40 guitars and the only years you could purchase a Victory Series model. There were four guitars available, each one representing the cars that took the win at Le Mans from 1966-1969. Safir's design was combined with the expertise of Hoodoo Guitars luthier skills to produce this stunning neck through maple body guitar. These guitars reflect the round trademarked GT40 logo on the 12th fret as well as a unique cable insert on the back of the neck through design. These guitars were created to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the GT40 victories in 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969.

The classic series of GT40 guitars is not only a beautiful instrument, it's a players guitar. The feel and the action of this guitar match the race cars. They are fast and they look great. Branded with the trademarked GT40 logo on the headstock, these guitars are official GT40 licensed products which were proudly designed by Safir GT40. Each guitar has a metal chassis plate embedded in the guitar as well as a certificate of authenticity. There are two designs (single inset and double inset) represent the hood scoops on the GT40 cars, therefore customers who own GT40 cars can custom order a guitar to match their car in style and color. If you don't own a GT40 car, this is now your opportunity to own an official GT40 collectible guitar.

The evolution II series guitars are designed to represent the evolution of the GT40. Unique curves with clean fenders give this guitar a unique look.
2020-Current: Gulf 50th Anniversary GT40 Guitars
Comes With 50th Anniversary Tool Room Car Purchase
The Gulf 50th Anniversary guitars proudly display the Gulf logo as well as a signature from Mr John Horsman, who led the Gulf racing team to win Le Mans in 1968 and 1969. Although not directly available to the public, there are a series of 50 cars available for purchase, so these special Gulf guitars will be delivered to anyone purchasing the Gulf 50th Anniversary Tool Room cars from Superformance. This metal GT40 chassis plate on the back of the guitar will reflect the same chassis number as the car purchased.
