Ford GT40 Mark I
Started production in 1965
Started building early 1965 at Ford Advanced Vehicles in Slough.
The GT40 MKII dominated Le Mans in 1966, winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The P stands for production. These cars were available to the public. January 1, 1967 JW Engineering took over production in the same building and same address.

Above picture is GT40P-1014 is a Mark I built in 1964. FAV (Ford Advanced Vehicles) built this car. This may have been the first customer car but many other GT40 were built prior.
